This project consisted of renovations to Morganfield, Sturgis and Uniontown
Elementary schools. Each school was extensively renovated, with virtually all
interior classroom and office areas at Morganfield and Sturgis gutted and
rebuilt. The work was performed concurrently at each school. The work was
done in phases (a few classrooms at a time) while the schools were occupied.
The existing flat roof systems at Morganfield and Sturgis were given pitch
using a retrofit metal roof system. This work was performed while the interior
classroom renovations were being conducted.
MORGANFIELD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL project consisted of renovations of a 24,000 SF
classroom wing. The work included: sitework, a new framed entry addition, metal
roof system, replace windows, renovate classrooms and restrooms.
STURGIS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL project consisted of renovations of a 26,000 SF
classroom wing. The work included: sitework, a new framed entry addition, metal
roof system, replace windows, renovate classrooms and restrooms.
UNIONTOWN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL project consisted of the addition of an 850 SF
enclosed walkway and replacement of various windows.
